Word clouds are a relatively new phenomenon and a great visual tool to help your readers see what your blog is about. To create a word cloud you can choose a tool (see below) that looks at all the topics written about on a blog and shows the most popular topics as the largest. Wordle is a tool for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. Free

Yippy Cloud
A Yippy Cloud is a tool that webmasters or bloggers can use to instantly visualize a topic using the familiar tag cloud display. Free

Just type or paste text into the box and press the arrow button to view the word cloud generated. It’s specifically created for kids, but any age will find it interesting. Free
Tagxedo
Turns words into a word cloud with words sized appropriately to highlight the frequencies of occurrence within the body of text. You can even type in your url. Free
Word Mosaic
Creates a word mosaic in the shape of an object, which is a bit different than other word cloud programs. Free
Tag Crowd
There are three ways of entering text into TagCrowd to generate a word cloud: 1.) Enter the URL for a web page you wish to visualize, 2.) Paste (or type) the text you wish to visualize into the text box, 3.) Upload a plain text file to visualize. Free
